The Great Escape! Enjoy solitude in a serene beachfront townhome, immersed in your novel for up to four days—from Thursday or Friday anytime, through Sunday or Monday noon. Hone your craft, occasionally intermingling with our Whole Novel faculty and advanced or published peers.
Our Basic Retreat includes your lodging at Pajaro Dunes resort, most meals with faculty, and introductory keynotes. The Retreat-Plus adds in-depth, novel-crafting sessions to further enrich your experience. We offer the spacious Retreat House (with fireplace and decks) to seven writers of middle-grade and YA novels; choose either double- or single-occupancy bedrooms, each with its own private bath.
